TOURNAMENT FORMAT
LOCAL ONE POCKET RULES

• Fargo 649 & Under
• Minimum 200 Robustness

• On the Break  Rack your own.  If the breaker makes a ball in any pocket, he is to rerack and break again.  Even if the break makes a ball and scratches.
• Cue ball fouls only.  Moving only one bll is not  foul.  Moving 2 or 3 balls that may be restored is a foul.  Moving multiple balls is a loss of game.
• Only one player can be in negative ball count
• Three foul rule is in effect.
• If you make a ball in your opponents pocket, it will spot only if (on a legal stroke) the cue ball scratches into a pocket
• Lag for break of 1st game, alternate for the 2nd and lag for the 3rd.
• 24 players divided into 3 groups of 8 players.  Groups will be divided based off Fargo rates of participants from highest to lowest.
• Each group will be split into 2 pods of 4 players.
• Players in each pod will play 3 matches. Each match will be 3 games.
• 2 players from each pod will advance to Day 2.
• DAY 2 – Three 4-player brackets.
• Double elimination race to 2/2 – 2 1/2 hour time limit
• FINALS – Single race to 3, 3 1/2 hr time limit
• You will be given a 30 minute warning. When the time is up, the non-breaker will finish the inning.  Whoever is leading wins the game.  If the game is still tied, then you will lag for the win.
• Shotgun Tournament – matches will be called as soon as they are available
• If you are late for your match:
  15 mins late – loss of game
  30 mins late – loss of match
• Tournament Director has final say for penalties.
